The movie is based on the acclaimed novel K T N Kottur Ezhuthum Jeevithavum by T. P. Rajeevan, which is set in the backdrop of India's freedom struggle

and depicts a magical history of a Kerala village.

Renjith’s next is Njan !

Right after the announcement, Director Ranjith's upcoming movie is in the news for all the reasons. Now, we hear that Dulquar starrer project is titled as Njan. 

Though the director is tight-lipped about the movie, the close sources reveal that the movie will be a period flick. Reportedly, the theme of the movie is based on the novel T P Rajeevan's work 'K P N Kottoor: Ezhuthum Jeevithavum'. His earlier outing Paleri Manikyam is also based on the T P Rajeevan's novel, with the same title.

G for Gold Mohan lal Renjith again

G for gold ...another mohanlal Renjith film starting the schedules in january 2014.

The much expected film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Aashirwad films banner.

Kadal Kadannoru Mathukutty

Kadal Kadannoru Mathukutty Directed and scripted by Renjith, the movie will have Mammootty in the title character as an NRI who moved on to germany after marrying a nurse. 

The movie  chronicles the days when he is sent back to Kottayam  by the German malayalees to accomplish a special task.Alisha and Muthumani are the heroines of this movie which will also feature Mohanlal and Dileep in guest roles. The release date of the movie is yet to be announced.

Shutter releases

Shutter is a 2012 Malayalam film written and directed by theater actor and playwright Joy Mathew in his directorial debut. The film, set and filmed in Kozhikode, stars Lal, Sreenivasan, Vinay Forrt, Sajitha Madathil and Riya Saira. Renganaath Ravee does the sound design, Hari Nair cranks the camera . The film, notably features a poem by Pablo Neruda, set to music and sung by Shahabaz Aman. Biby Sam and Jacob Panikker did the back ground score for the film. Teenage school student from Kozhikkode, Zubin Imtiaz had penned and composed a bilingual song 'Kyun'.
