Malini 22 Palayamkottai
Malayalam new generation director Aashiq Abu’s critically acclaimed box-office hit 22 Female Kottayam is now being remade in Tamil. Top yester year heroine Sripriya is making a comeback as director with this remake aptly titled Malini 22 Palayamkottai .
22 Female Kottayam
was a powerful woman-centric revenge drama and the well-written role
done by Rima Kallingal will be reprised in Tamil by Nitya Menen. The
others in the cast include Krish Satar in Fahaadh Fazil’s role and
Naresh who will do the mean villain role that Pratap Pothen made
memorable in the original.
Malini 22 Palayamkottai will
have music by Aravind-Shankar and camera by Manoj Pillai. Produced by
Rajkumar Sethupathy for Rajkumar Theatres Pvt Ltd, the executive
producers are Suresh Balaje and George Pius. Screenplay, Dialogues &
Direction is by Sripriya.
